Mens mental health community
Thanks for checking out the site! We are still in the very early stages but I want you to know what we plan to do. We will be offering free group sessions for men to come together and connect with others and discuss issues that they are experiencing. As we grow we will bring on registered therapists to run the meetings. We will also be doing workshops to address specific issues that the group sees as major impacts to their mental health.
We aren't quite there yet but you can sign up for our mailing list below so I can notify you as soon as we are ready.
Our mission is to create supportive, accessible spaces for individuals to connect and engage in open, group-based therapy sessions. We aim to promote mental well-being by providing free, community-driven opportunities for individuals to discuss a variety of topics, foster meaningful connections, and break down the stigma surrounding mental health. Through empowering volunteers and building local communities, we seek to begin with men's mental health and quickly expand to women and youth mental health, supporting individuals of all backgrounds in their mental health journeys.
To create a world where mental health is prioritized, supported, and destigmatized in every community. We envision a network of self-sustaining, peer-led support groups that empower individuals to take charge of their mental well-being and foster strong, resilient communities where everyone can thrive.
We approach every individual with compassion, understanding, and respect, recognizing the unique struggles and strengths each person brings to the community.
We believe mental health support should be available to all, regardless of gender, background, or life circumstances. Everyone deserves a space to heal, grow, and thrive.
We foster a sense of belonging by creating spaces where individuals can connect, share experiences, and support one another. Strong communities are built on trust, mutual respect, and shared healing.
We believe in the power of individuals to take control of their mental health and well-being. Through volunteer training and peer support, we equip people to become leaders in their own communities.
Mental health support should be free and accessible to everyone. We are committed to breaking down barriers, such as cost, stigma, and lack of resources, to ensure that support is available to those who need it most.
We recognize that effective mental health care requires collective effort. We work in partnership with local organizations, mental health professionals, and volunteers to provide holistic support for individuals and communities.
At Better Self, we believe in a community approach to mental health. Our services encompass mental and emotional well-being through community engagement empowering you to achieve balance in your life.
